different part of the world and different types of people and
wants from the students to draw pictures and put themselves in these people’s shoes.
Students will show their pictures to other students and explain
their thoughts to other students. At the end of the section there will be a conclusion part so

What we consider to be ‘normal’ behaviour in one country can be entirely different in another.
Cultural awareness is all about recognising and
understanding that we all have different values shaped by our diverse cultural backgrounds.
By the help of the activities, we will show it is important
to be respectful to others and accepting people’s opinions and develop more successful
personal and professional relationships and benefit from
cultural diversity. So we aim to enlarge the students’ “concept” of culture, widen their
perspective and allow them to become actively involved in the
learning process. As we believe art and design stimulates creativity and imagination, we will
have a drawing section. In this section students will have
experience of understanding and responding to the world. It will enable children to
communicate what they see, feel and think through the use of
colour, texture, form, pattern and different materials and processes. Also, they will have a
chance to compare their imagination to real life by visiting
the special needs students school. In addition to this, students increase their critical
awareness of the roles and purposes of art and design in
different times and cultures. Finally by the visits of historic and ancient cities they will be able
to imagine the ancient world and culture.
